A: Liz has currently illustrated three published books:

  • Science With Scarlett: What Color Will It Be? (April 2019), By: Gary Abud Jr.

Q: What was it like working with Liz Craft Illustrations?

A: Liz has been incredible, and I really enjoyed collaborating with her.  Her Strong Stings illustrations are beautiful, and the story is so much richer for them.  We were on the same page almost immediately.  She was very receptive and accommodating to my vision for the book, but she also provided her own creative perspective that I found invaluable.  Her feedback is always professional, and our communication was great.  Strong Strings would not be what it is without Liz Donoghue.

Q: What’s special about Strong Strings’ illustrations?

A: The crisp and colorful illustrations set the scene for the characters beautifully, but the characters themselves are not pictured.  The book was designed that way to make it easier for readers to see themselves and their loved ones in the story.  That said, the illustrations that “play” out across the page capture the emotions of the two main characters and give the reader a visual metaphor for the story’s main message.
